Louisiana's 19 gaming facilities collectively strove to achieve $200 million in revenue for June but fell just short, with total earnings amounting to $197.4 million—reflecting a 3.1% decline from May. However, amid this overall downturn, Treasure Chest Casino in New Orleans distinguished itself with an impressive 83.7% increase in revenue, showcasing the dynamic nature of the state's gaming industry.

 

Mixed Results Across Louisiana's Casinos

Louisiana's diverse gaming landscape, consisting of four racinos, 14 riverboat casinos, and one land-based casino, experienced mixed fortunes in June. Despite the overall revenue drop, riverboat casinos showed resilience, with a minimal 0.6% decrease, bringing in $153.9 million.
