Louisiana Lottery and Scientific Games Extend Partnership

Lottery game producer Scientific Games has renewed its collaboration with the Louisiana Lottery, continuing as the primary provider of scratch-off games. This partnership, which commenced in 2004, focuses on expanding and innovating the lottery's scratch-off portfolio to support public education in Louisiana.

In a press release, Louisiana Lottery President and CEO Rose Hudson highlighted the benefits of the collaboration: “This has been a collaborative partnership to responsibly grow our scratch-off products for the benefit of K–12 public education in Louisiana. Over the years, we have worked with Scientific Games to enhance our game portfolio and adjust mechanics to create more engaging games for our players.”

Since scratch-off games were first introduced in 1991, the Louisiana Lottery has consistently updated its offerings. The recent renewal of this partnership aims to introduce new, higher-stakes scratch-off games, including Louisiana’s inaugural $20 scratch-off game.
