Scientific Games to Launch “Jurassic” Lottery Games

Scientific Games is expanding its lottery offerings through a new collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences to develop “Jurassic Park” and “Jurassic World”-themed lottery games for both digital and retail customers in the US and Canada. This marks the first time the iconic film franchise will be integrated into lottery gaming, offering players a new and exciting way to engage with the brand.

The multi-year partnership aims to tap into the widespread popularity of the “Jurassic World” franchise, which has proven to be one of the highest-grossing film series of all time. The partnership is expected to not only captivate players but also generate significant revenue for all parties involved.

Leveraging the “Jurassic” Franchise for Lottery Success

The collaboration comes as part of Scientific Games' strategy to create innovative, branded lottery products that resonate with a broad audience. Kyle Rogers, Senior Vice President of Instant Game Strategy & Licensing at Scientific Games, expressed excitement about the potential of the new offerings:

The “Jurassic World” franchise, which debuted in 2015 as part of a trilogy revival of the original “Jurassic Park” film, has a proven track record of box office success. The first installment in the series broke records by earning over $500 million globally on its opening weekend and ultimately grossed more than $1.6 billion worldwide. The franchise's wide appeal is expected to translate well into the lottery industry, potentially expanding the customer base. The new Jurassic-themed lottery games will make their debut at the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) conference, taking place from September 9-12. This launch will serve as a key event for introducing “Jurassic World” as the next major lottery-linked game from Scientific Games.
