Predators and Multipliers Collide in Jaws of Fortune
Stakelogic has introduced a new release titled Jaws of Fortune, a slot that places players in waters patrolled by predators and disrupted by an unlikely companion, a Jetski Dog. The game develops its structure around roaming symbols, shifting multipliers, and a thematic clash between hunter and trickster.
The slot is played on a 5×4 grid with 1,024 ways to form winning combinations. The maximum return can reach 5,000 times the initial stake, positioning the title firmly in the high-volatility category. What separates Jaws of Fortune from more conventional designs is the interaction between two character-driven elements: the Shark and the Jet Ski Dog, which together dictate how features unfold.

Central to the design is the Shark symbol. Whenever multiple Sharks appear, they fix themselves in position and trigger a respin. This keeps the reels active, opening up opportunities for additional symbols to connect. Yet the mechanic that defines the slot most clearly is Shark Attack, where roaming Sharks move across the reels in pursuit of the Jetski Dog.
As Sharks advance, every position they pass turns into a Wild symbol. If their path crosses an existing Wild, the multiplier on that symbol doubles. This gradual build-up can create substantial win potential before the Shark completes its pursuit by reaching the Jetski Dog. What results is a feature where narrative and mathematics are intertwined: the predator moves, symbols shift, and values grow in a sequence that feels both mechanical and thematic.
The Jetski Dog alters the pace with a feature called Splash Boost, which enhances random Coin values by up to ten times their original number. Should the reels fill, the payout potential rises sharply. This part of the slot carries the theme of pursuit into a new form: Sharks gathering values, Dogs disrupting patterns, and Coins becoming the measure of accumulated totals.
James Jelliffe, who leads slot development at Stakelogic, described the title as an effort to merge theme and function more closely. He explained that Sharks were designed to act as moving characters rather than fixed symbols, while the Jetski Dog was introduced to create disruption and inject unpredictability. According to Jelliffe, the objective was to add depth through interaction without making the rules unnecessarily complicated.
Jaws of Fortune demonstrates how Stakelogic continues to experiment with tying character-driven features directly into payout mechanics. The high-volatility model ensures the potential for larger rewards, while the roaming and collecting mechanics bring variation to each spin.
The Hold ‘N’ Win round represents the most distinctive part of the release, turning multipliers into moving targets and adding a boost mechanism through the Jetski Dog. At the same time, the Buy Bonus and Super Stake options reflect how studios are adjusting to players who want more influence over the pace of play.
