Kansas casinos experienced a notable uptick in revenue during the month of March, continuing a trend of steady progress since the beginning of the year, as reported by data from the Kansas Lottery. Four prominent casinos across the state collectively amassed $38.67 million in revenue last month, showcasing a positive trajectory in the region's gambling industry.

Comparing March's revenue with preceding months of the year, a clear pattern of growth emerges:

• January 2024: $30,311,619
• February 2024: $34,298,725
• March 2024: $38,669,189

March's figures reveal a 2.23% increase from the same period in 2023, which amounted to $37.82 million, signaling a significant 12.74% surge from February 2024.

• Boot Hill Casino: $4,401,503 (1.50% annual increase)

Notably, Hollywood Casino demonstrated the highest annual increase for yet another month, whereas Kansas Crossing Casino remained the sole operator to register a yearly decline in revenue, following a similar pattern from previous months.

Despite finishing with the smallest revenue among its counterparts, Kansas Crossing Casino saw the most significant monthly growth in March, alongside all other major operators:

• Kansas Star Casino: 10.95% monthly progress
• Hollywood Casino: 13.77% monthly increase
• Kansas Crossing Casino: 15.95% monthly increase
• Boot Hill Casino: 12.93% monthly increase

The Kansas Lottery's March 2024 revenue report highlights a universal rise in revenue across all gaming venues compared to February, culminating in a total monthly increase of 12.74%.

 

Sports Betting Surge

Despite the year-over-year revenue decline, March 2024 showcased a remarkable 133.95% increase in sports betting revenue compared to February, indicating promising prospects for the burgeoning industry in Kansas.
