Amusnet has been recognised as the top software company in Bulgaria for 2024, securing first place in the Digitalk 101 ranking, an annual assessment of the country’s largest and most influential IT businesses. The company reached this milestone in a year marked by a 16 per cent revenue increase and a series of international industry awards.

Digitalk 101’s recognition reflects more than just financial results. It highlights a steady growth trajectory that has taken Amusnet from its founding in 2016 to becoming one of Bulgaria’s most prominent technology exporters. The company now delivers its casino software solutions to 35 regulated markets, operating with a workforce of over 850 professionals spread across multiple countries.

Amusnet’s chief executive, Ivo Georgiev, said the technology sector rewards companies that anticipate change rather than react to it. In his view, innovation comes from combining a global perspective with sustainable practices. He pointed to the company’s consistent investment in talent, emerging technologies, and creative product development as a way of both meeting current market demands and helping shape future ones.

The company’s rise is closely tied to developments in the iGaming industry, a sector that continues to expand in both established and emerging jurisdictions. The pace of this growth is driven in part by new technological capabilities and by the need for content providers to adapt to changing regulations. Beyond leading the overall software category, Amusnet also ranked first in the Information and Communications Technology export subcategory of Digitalk 101. Approximately 91 per cent of its revenue comes from international operations, illustrating its dependence on, and success in, markets outside Bulgaria. This export-driven approach has supported the company’s resilience, enabling it to balance domestic operations with global expansion.

The company’s footprint now extends well beyond its Sofia headquarters. Amusnet has established teams in Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Malta, Georgia, and Armenia. It is also increasing its presence in Latin America, with targeted growth in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru. This expansion strategy blends investment in mature European markets with entry into high-growth regions, a combination that offers both stability and opportunity.

Recognition in Digitalk 101 is the latest in a series of accolades for the company. In Italy, Amusnet received the Casino Content Provider of the Year award at the 2025 Italian Gaming Awards. In Spain, it earned the Online Gaming Award at Expojoc 2025. The GamingTECH Awards 2025 named it Best Online Casino Provider in Central and Eastern Europe, while the Baltic & Scandinavian Gaming Awards 2025 honoured it with the same title for the northern European region. These awards reflect Amusnet’s multi-market approach and the visibility it has achieved within the global iGaming community.

The growth Amusnet has reported in 2024 points to a broader pattern in the technology side of the gambling industry, where competition is increasingly shaped by both content quality and the ability to navigate regulatory complexity.
