Genius Sports has signed a multi-year agreement with Italy’s Lega Serie A, granting the data and technology firm exclusive global rights to distribute official betting data and low-latency video streams for all Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana matches through the 2028/29 season. 2The deal positions Genius Sports as the sole authorized provider of Serie A data and international streaming for sportsbook operators, further consolidating its presence in the global sports betting ecosystem. At the center of the rollout is BetVision, Genius Sports’ AI-powered product that merges live video, real-time statistics, and in-play betting into a single interface. Originally launched with the NFL, BetVision’s move into European football marks a significant expansion of its reach. The Future

The announcement follows closely on the heels of Genius Sports’ separate deal with the European Leagues Association. That agreement, disclosed earlier this week, secured exclusive data rights for over 8,000 matches across 18 leagues in 46 professional competitions. It also included the deployment of Genius’ GeniusIQ platform, which supports tracking, officiating, and performance analysis.

Analysts view the Serie A agreement as a significant enhancement to Genius Sports' portfolio, especially in a crowded market where official data and reliable streaming are increasingly critical for sportsbook differentiation and compliance.
