From a Sous Chef to Content Writer

Before joining Casinolandia, my career path was shaped by my passion for food, hospitality, and a desire to learn across diverse environments. From 2016 to 2020, I studied culinary and hotel management, where I not only honed my cooking skills but also gained expertise in sommelier work, food service, and the overall operations of the hospitality industry. During this time, I had the privilege of working at Hotel Moscow in Sofia, one of the city’s most prestigious hotels, where I served as a sub-chef. Additionally, I broadened my understanding of customer service by taking on roles as a server and bartender.

Alongside my studies, I worked at a small, highly respected local restaurant in my hometown, which further enhanced my practical skills. A key part of my culinary education included a two-week practical placement in London, working in a kitchen in the heart of Oxford Street. This exposure allowed me to experience a high-paced international culinary environment, where I deepened my knowledge of food and its cultural importance.

Although I initially planned to continue in the restaurant and hotel sectors, I found that the atmosphere in those environments didn’t align with my personal values. As a result, I transitioned into retail, working at Billa for almost four years. Despite the change in direction, my passion for food never wavered, and I continued experimenting with home cooking, honing my skills in advanced techniques like molecular gastronomy and perfecting hearty meals for my family and friends.

Ultimately, my diverse journey and my love for sharing knowledge led me to an exciting opportunity at Casinolandia as a content writer. Here, I am able to combine my analytical and writing skills with my rich background in culinary arts, bringing a unique perspective to my role. I am proud to bring my passion for learning, my culinary expertise, and my fluency in English to every piece of content I write.
